Hello, I’m Anna…
I’m a compassionate, force-free dog trainer offering personalised 1:1 training and behaviour support across North and East London.
I help you — as your dog’s primary advocate — make sense of what your dog is telling you, work through challenges, and build the practical skills that make everyday city life calmer and more enjoyable. I take a no-judgment approach, shaped around your goals and your dog’s needs.
…and next to me is Walnut!
Walnut is a rescue dog I adopted from Turkey in July 2020. She’s a sensitive soul, and found busy urban environments overwhelming. She was fearful of people and dogs, barking at anyone that looked at her. She was terrified of loud sounds like fireworks, car engines, or building works. She refused to walk in the dark and hated car travel. The list felt endless!
Step by step, we built a strong relationship based on trust, and she gradually blossomed into a confident city dog. Now, she makes friends quickly, wants to go into every café and onto every bus she sees, jumps into the car, and asks for treats when she hears loud noises.
My approach to dog training
Working with Walnut taught me that the dog is rarely the problem, and that real progress comes when the human and dog learn together. I work with dog guardians who are genuinely invested in understanding their dog, not just managing them. I’ll be honest when something isn’t working, support you in building skills that last, and always put what’s actually best for your dog above what’s convenient or comfortable.

What clients say…

- “Wonderful experience with Anna! She was able to tailor our training to my nervous rescue dog’s needs. I needed help with barking at the door / noises outside. I am happy to report that we no longer have the issue, and have had others surprised at his ability to self-comfort. I also learnt so much more about understanding dog behaviour – all things I am able to apply elsewhere. 10/10 thank you so much!” – Archie’s mum
- “Anna is helping me build confidence and a trusting relationship with my new rescue. Anna’s approach is holistic and tailored to both the dog and the human! My nervous dog felt comfortable around her within minutes. The tools/resources Anna provides are great learning materials, too.” – Cylla’s mum
- “I was dogsitting a new dog, and it turns out that this dog had much greater needs than I’d expected. Anna really helped me work through quite a challenging situation, and to bond with a very cute but very chaotic puppy! I was amazed how much could be achieved remotely and over such a short period of time.” – Cass
